Welcome to a modern transformation of a suburban gem—a 4,557 SF home with solid bones that yearned for a makeover to match the style and lifestyle of its world-traveling occupants. As a family of six, often hosting extended family from abroad, this suburban haven needed not just a remodel but also additional space.
Our journey began on the ground floor, where we updated the lounge, dining, living, and master bedroom to harmonize with the recently updated kitchen. Furnishings were carefully curated to cater to the family’s modern taste and provide indoor and outdoor comfort by the pool.
Upstairs, we embarked on a larger project, completely gutting all the baths and bedrooms. New spaces were designed, windows were added to an attic room, and a new bath was crafted to accommodate this large family. Every room received special care, tailored to the preferences of the young tweens, including the upstairs gathering room, complete with a rock climbing wall and custom mural. Meanwhile, the guest room was transformed into a sophisticated retreat for the grandparents.
Throughout the home, we curated every detail to reflect modern tastes with playful touches for the younger crowd upstairs. This transformation is a testament to the power of design to create spaces that are not only stylish but also functional, accommodating the needs and desires of a vibrant family.
