The Hills in Lakeway, Texas, was overdue for an extensive update.

Our clients for this project had just relocated from Colorado to The Hills near Lakeway, TX. The home they purchased was beautiful with great bones, but long overdue for an extensive update. They already possessed a great sense of style and embracing the design process—she knew what she liked, but was willing to take some risks to create some stand-out features.

Our work began with updating the home’s structure with paint throughout, also changing lighting in the entire home. We also updated flooring when it made sense, keeping what we could when relevant, and did a partial remodel of both the kitchen and stairwell.

With the groundwork laid, we provided a complete floor plan layout for furnishings throughout. A few existing pieces worked well, so we added to those significantly to create cohesive and finished spaces. The result is a stunning updated home that speaks to our client’s personal aesthetic. The black and white color scheme is a constant in the home with some unexpected color stories that surprise and delight!
