This house was filled with arches leaving it feeling overwhelming. For this transformation we took down the wall and made it into an open kitchen. Great for having company!

We love JF Fabrics for their unique and hard to find textiles. Whether it’s a shimmering pearlescent vinyl used to reupholster a custom banquette, a luxe velvet pattern or intricate embroidery; this line delivers drama, color, and just the right amount of extra when the design calls for it.

Not our typical client. Exactly why we said yes.
This is an industrial metal building in the Texas Hill Country, and the brief was simple, it needed personality.
So we leaned in. Caps, deer heads, and all.
We lightened up dark spaces with paint, added feature lighting, refreshed the bathrooms with new vanities, plumbing, and wallpaper, and gave reception a proper first impression with new furniture and art.
And when the taxidermy wasn’t ready yet, we literally drew templates so the deer heads could be swapped in later without guessing. Hats off to our design intern Loralei for that one.
Different style, different scope, a whole lot of fun!

A progress video of Shawn and Jay’s. Shawn and Jay lost everything inside their home during the July 4, 2025 Texas floods and are now just weeks away from moving back in.
Through ARC – Arcadia Recovery Relief, affiliated with the Impact Guild, I am volunteering as Project Manager to help furnish and fully stock their home so they can move back into a safe, fully functioning space.
Despite living through something that could have broken them, Shawn and Jay remain positive, peaceful, grateful, and are genuinely a joy to be around. There is no bitterness, just quiet strength and appreciation.
Through ARC – Arcadia Recovery Relief, my role as a volunteer Project Manager is to coordinate the final phase of recovery, furnishing and stocking their home so it works from day one when they walk back through the door.
We are nearing the end.
Which means the pressure is real. 😅
But so is the momentum.
